If the consolidated business area is defined in the company, then its mandatory to assign business areas to consolidation business areas.
Only requirement for the assignment is the business area and consolidated business area should be predefined. More than one business area can be assigned to consolidated business area.
Assign Business Area to Consolidated Business Area: -
Below process is to assign business areas (TCBA, TCBB) to consolidated business area TCCB

Step-1: Enter the transaction code S_ALR_87007385 in the SAP command field and click Enter to continue.

Enter the transaction code SPRO in the SAP command field and click Enter to continue.
Click on SAP Reference IMG.
Expand SAP Customizing Implementation Guide → Enterprise Structure → Assignment → Financial Accounting → Assign Business Area to Consolidated Business Area. Click on Execute.
Step-2: In the Next Screen, Enter the Consolidated Business Area corresponding to the business areas as shown below.

Step-3: Click on the Save button to assign the business area to consolidated business area.
Step-4: It prompt for the Change Request. Create/Select the change request and Click on right mark to proceed.
Step-5: Status bar displays the below message once the business area assigned to consolidated business area successfully.
